We had a doctor’s appointment today, and all went well. The doctor was happy with our progress and prescribed additional supplements. We heard Husam’s heartbeat and him moving around contstantly. In my 25th week, we are more than 1/2 way there. He’s been kicking a lot more lately, so we assume that his hotel room is getting a little tight!
Husam has started kicking on a regular basis… he seems to fancy garlic especially. Its a relief to feel him kick regularly and Mohamed has felt him kick as well, so that is very exciting. Its said that as I grow larger (I can’t believe that I will be even bigger), he will kick just as much but I will feel it more as his hotel room gets smaller. We have an drs appt on Monday and hopefully (ha ha, he just kicked while I am typing, just like his papa, always likes to get into the middle of things!) all will go well.
Welcome to our baby blog, for baby Husam. We are a little unsure of what to do, kind of like the entire first trimester. However, like the first trimester, we’ll figure our way though this too hopefully.
We are starting this blog in New Jersey in my (Kristen’s) mother’s home. We came here for a visit and saw parts of our wonderful family and many friends. We learned a lot while here, from ultrasounds that originally told parents of a boy that turned out to be a girl to the great finds at diapers.com. Experienced mothers hold such a wealth of knowledge, warnings and encouragement, its pretty amazing.
Tomorrow marks the official start of the 22nd week, and I’ve finally felt some kicking after much anticipation.
