Baby Husam Arab

Baby Husam has finally arrived!  Much like his mama, he has an appreciation for timeliness and starting the process of coming into the world only one day (Thursday) past his due date  and then arrived the following day, (Friday).  After an exciting 40 hour process, we had him safe and sound.    3 days later, we understand what parents have been telling us all along, its worth the wait, worth the pain and there’s nothing else like it - its all true.  They also happened to mention the sleepless nights, complete bafflement of what makes them happy and not so happy… also true.  Thanks to EVERYONE along this road, we’ve had more help and support than we ever could have imagined!  Below is a link to pictures of the little cutie!!!

Classes are over, baby’s room is almost finished and we have 3 weeks to go til the big day (give or take two weeks either way).  We still have a ton of things to do, but we’ll get it all done eventually.  I’m the size of a small house and getting bigger everyday.  Baby Husam is kicking up a storm all hours of the day, I think he’s just making sure we know he’s ready…..

We had two wonderful baby showers, one on the east coast thrown by my amazingly generous sis Sue and one on the west coast thrown by designer extraordinare Nada-boom-bada…. Its like an east coast/west coast rap thang, but with diapers and cake. Please see the links below for the pics….
